1) Thanks to the original ROOM Collection box spring system and high-quality, coordinated components, long-term healthy, comfortable and restful sleep is guaranteed.

These include, in particular, the area-elastic & point-elastic box, the springs of the point-elastic 7-zone mattress made of barrel pocket spring cores, which are thermally electrically sewn into individual fabric pockets, and the allergy-friendly cold foam topper for optimal lying comfort.

2) Extremely high-quality components and a solid real wood frame make the ROOM Collection bed an absolute must-have for healthy and restful sleep.

Many beds today are made from thin panels of compressed wood. The bed frame of each Handmade ROOM Collection bed, on the other hand, is 30 mm thick.

The components are connected to each other in such a way that they neither creak nor wobble even under load. For example, individual parts of the frame are not only nailed down, but also glued with biological glue (anti-squeak).

All individual parts such as feet or headboard are firmly connected to the bed frame and are therefore also free of squeaks and jerks.

The motor for the electrical adjustability (optional) is not only high-quality, but also makes the ROOM Collection bed perhaps the most powerful box spring bed with a motor in the world. Up to 200 kg lifting load per side (!) are possible - and that with very quiet running.

Finally, the ROOM Collection box spring bed can be individually adapted to personal requirements in terms of appearance and comfort thanks to the wide range of design options. This way you are guaranteed to always have the highest sleeping comfort.

The ROOM Collection bed is basically suitable for everyone. Thanks to the large variety of models, the individual configurability of the bed design, the degrees of firmness and the availability of special sizes, it also meets the most individual requirements.

Yes! The hygiene, ventilation and allergy-friendliness of the ROOM Collection bed deserve special mention. In particular, the combination of barrel pocket springs in the mattress and barrel pocket springs in the box ensure very good ventilation and a healthy sleeping climate. In addition, the cold foam topper is porous and breathable. The ROOM double-cloth cover of the ROOM Collection Topper, quilted with CLIMAX fibers, can be removed thanks to the zip system and is hygienically washable at 60°C. In addition, it inherently protects against mite and mold infestation. An additional cover or similar is therefore no longer necessary. The ROOM Collection bed is therefore a particularly allergy-friendly box spring bed.

This depends in particular on whether the bed is intended for two or just one person, how much space each person needs and of course the size of the bedroom. The most popular size of double bed is 180x200 cm. If you prefer a little more space, choose 200x200 cm. If you don't have enough space in the bedroom, you can choose 160x200 cm, for example. With single beds, all variants (90x200, 100x200, 120x200 or 140x200 cm) offer enough space for one person. The size 140x200 cm even has space for two people, but then it gets a little cozier. Each bed can also be configured in a special length / extra length (190, 210 and 220 cm).

The exact dimensions of the box spring bed usually result from the mattress size and the selected headboard. Yes, the ROOM Collection box spring bed can also be configured in special lengths of 190, 210 and 220 cm. You can individually select the desired length for each ROOM Collection bed.

The ROOM Collection bed frame is not made of thin pressed wood, but of 30 mm thick solid wood. An impressive 20 years of service life (!) can be expected if used properly. What does that mean for you? So you only have to change the topper or the mattresses over time and not buy a completely new bed. You can find more about the renewal of the ROOM Collection mattresses and toppers in the other FAQs in the "Mattresses & toppers" tab.

• For regular cleaning, vacuuming with a (hand) vacuum cleaner on a low setting is sufficient. • For stains, we recommend a careful wiping with a damp, soft cloth, for more stubborn stains, a gentle upholstery cleaner can be used.

• For a long service life and a consistently beautiful appearance, the imitation leather can be treated quarterly with a gentle imitation leather care product. • For regular cleaning, wiping with a soft cloth and water (ideally distilled water) is sufficient. • For more stubborn stains, a gentle saddler's soap can be used.

• The cover of the box spring bed topper can be easily removed and washed if necessary. • The most important thing for a long service life is good and daily ventilation of the bedroom • For optimal air circulation between the layers, you should refrain from using mattress protectors (these are superfluous in the ROOM Collection bed anyway). • Box spring mattresses and toppers should be rotated (head to foot) and/or turned (bottom to top) every few months to ensure even loading. See the question “Can I rotate and/or turn mattresses and toppers?” for more details. • High-quality fitted sheets also increase air circulation and at the same time reduce wear and tear on the mattresses - thus extending the life of the mattresses. Tip: When ordering your ROOM Collection bed, you will automatically be offered very high-quality fitted sheets that exactly match your bed configuration.

No matter how you design or choose your ROOM Collection box spring bed, you are always guaranteed the highest sleeping comfort thanks to our handmade ROOM box spring components in the Made in Germany modular system. In contrast to a normal bed, the basis (box) in your ROOM Collection box spring bed is not a slatted frame, but a high-quality, hand-made, point-elastic barrel pocket spring core mattress. Above that, a point-elastic, 7-zone mattress made of high-quality, hand-made barrel pocket springs with individually sewn thermoelectric springs ensures optimal adaptation to every body and thus permanently healthy lying. The end is a high-quality cold foam topper, which ensures bed hygiene thanks to the washable cover, guarantees the most pleasant lying comfort and is also allergy-friendly. Regardless of your configuration, you will only find high-quality, handcrafted mattress components in a bed from ROOM Collection. This ensures both optimal sleep quality and longevity. The ROOM mattress in the box is a high-quality, hand-made, point-elastic barrel pocket spring core mattress with a height of 20 cm. Not with a simple area-elastic Bonell spring core, as is usual with many suppliers. Here, too, ROOM Collection attaches great importance to the best components. So that each of our customers can enjoy the highest level of 5-star sleeping luxury. The mattress on top is a high-quality, point-elastic ROOM mattress with barrel pocket spring cores, which is also handmade. In the standard version, this mattress is also 20 cm thick. And is complemented by a matching comfort topper.

From a box spring bed size of 160x200, the ROOM Collection is a box spring double bed. We follow the relevant recommendations of sleep research: There are always two separate mattresses with their own mattress core. But don't worry: You don't have to fear a crack in the visitor. Why is it important for good sleep that there are two separate mattress cores? 1. On the one hand, the degrees of hardness per side can be selected individually. 2. On the other hand, the movements of the partner are not transferred to the other mattress at night. Both partners sleep more peacefully and do not wake each other up. But that doesn't mean you have to do without cuddling with the ROOM Collection: Thanks to the large, continuous topper, you still don't have any visitor cracks.

The high-quality ROOM Collection topper consists of open-pored, breathable cold foam and is 6 cm thick at its core (with the quilting and cover, the outer dimension is 8 cm). It ensures pleasant and healthy sleeping comfort with good ventilation at the same time. The ROOM double cloth cover quilted with CLIMAX fiber fulfills three important requirements: • First, it ensures perfect temperature control (warming in winter, cooling in summer). • Secondly, it is equipped to protect against mold and mite infestation and is perfect for allergy sufferers (an additional cover / encasing is no longer necessary). • And thirdly, thanks to the zip system, it can be removed and hygienically washed at 60°C.

Both the mattress with upholstery fabric (no extra charge) and all other mattress components offer the same sleeping comfort thanks to handmade components, an identical structure, as well as the same barrel pocket spring core and 7-zone system. All our ROOM box spring bed mattresses are available in different degrees of firmness (H2, H3 or H4) and can therefore be perfectly tailored to your preferences or your physique. In addition, with a ROOM Collection double bed, the degree of firmness can be varied on each side.

All ROOM mattresses ensure an optimal and healthy lying position thanks to the proven, handcrafted 7-zone system. The degree of hardness also determines whether a mattress is softer, medium firm or very firm. On the one hand, personal preferences play a role in the decision, but on the other hand, personal body weight is particularly important for a healthy spine-friendly sleeping position (a horizontal line for side sleepers and a kind of S-shape for back sleepers). up to 75 kg: H2 recommended The H2 mattress is comparatively a bit softer and is ideal for people weighing up to 75 kg. over 75 kg up to 120 kg: H3 recommended The H3 mattress is the most frequently chosen mattress hardness in Germany: on the one hand, because most people want exactly this degree of hardness and, on the other hand, because the H3 degree of hardness is recommended for the majority of people in terms of body weight (over 75 kg to 120 kg). over 120 kg: H4 recommended The H4 mattress is recommended for a body weight of over 120 kg and the necessary stability and firmness for a restful sleep. Don't worry: the mattress is firmer, but by no means hard. In combination with the topper, you can also expect the highest lying comfort here. Unsure which degree of hardness is the right one? Is your weight exactly between two degrees of firmness or are you unsure for other reasons which mattress firmness is right for you? Our recommendation: Try to determine the degree of hardness using the BMI (Body Mass Index). Scroll down a little to learn how. If you are still unsure afterwards or are still between two degrees of hardness, you should tend towards a somewhat firmer mattress. On the one hand, this is recommended for health reasons. On the other hand, the comfortable topper always ensures that you lie super comfortably in a ROOM Collection bed. Determine degree of hardness according to BMI (Body Mass Index). The right degree of firmness of the mattresses can be determined even more precisely by BMI, especially for people whose height deviates more from the average (under 160 cm or over 190 cm). The weight of a 197 cm tall person tends to be higher, but it is also better distributed on the lying surface. These recommendations apply to the ROOM box spring bed mattresses: • BMI up to 25: H2 recommended • BMI up to 32: H3 recommended • BMI over 32: H4 recommended The BMI is calculated as follows: BMI = body weight in kg / (body length in mx body length in m) • Example for a person weighing 80 kg and 1.80 m tall: • BMI = 80 / (1.80 x 1.80) = 24.7 In this case, the degree of hardness H2 would be the right choice.

In principle, the lifespan of mattresses and toppers can be extended by turning and/or turning them regularly (see next question). • The lifespan of the topper is then around 5 years. • The service life of the Mozart mattresses is then twice as long at around 10 years. After that, the mattresses and topper should be replaced for optimal sleep quality. With ROOM Collection you can easily reorder them if necessary.

In general: In order to increase the durability and hygiene of a mattress, it is advisable to turn the mattress every few months (swap the head and foot end) and/or turn it (swap the bottom and top). This is also possible with the ROOM mattresses: you can and should turn them over at regular intervals of around 8 weeks (swapping the head and foot sides). However, you should not turn them around.
